Supervisor Martha A. Parker

Mother Martha Ann Parker was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Throughout her childhood she was trained and nurtured to care for her family and to be diligent and committed to the tasks which were set before her. At the young age of 15, Mother Parker heard the call of the Lord on her life and was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost.

Mother Parker has served in many capacities over the years, both in the religious sect and the community. She has worked in the field of music and has worked with the Gospel Music Workshop of America organized 150 members representing Nebraska on a national level. She was a news reporter for a local Community News program. She loves working with youth and in the healthcare field. Whatever she put her hands to do resulted in a positive impact on that particular field. Throughout her time of service, God was molding this maidservant to be the vessel that would influence the people of God and the world, both young and old, to have a fervor and excitement for doing Kingdom work.

Mother Parker attended Big Creek Training School, Metro Community College in Omaha, and Mason Bible School. She is currently enrolled in Faith Bible College pursuing a degree in Counseling and Psychology.

She has served for over 28 years as the first lady of the Antioch Church of God in Christ, where the Late Elder Algie Parker was her husband and Pastor. On the state level, Mother Parker has held the positions of Young Women Christian Counsel President (Y.W.C.C.) and Pastor’s & Minister’s Wives President. Mother Martha A. Parker currently holds the trust of Supervisor of the Department Women for the Nebraska Jurisdiction Church of God In Christ. In this capacity, Supervisor Parker is responsible for overseeing the spiritual and natural development training and administration of all women throughout the jurisdiction, as well as represents this state at the national and international level with the Church of God In Christ.
